Sundown Guest House Maputo

We had a fantastic stay at Sundown Guest House! The location was perfect, situated in a great area of town with plenty of amenities nearby. The rooms were spacious, clean, and the bedding was super comfortable. We also enjoyed the delicious South African breakfast that got our day off to a great start. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and were very good too make our stay enjoyable. we highly recommend this hotel for its value for money and excellent facilities.

Good sized room, absolutely great setting. The hotel itself was in a quiet area. Plus, we were 15 mins by foot from Jardim Dona Berta. Lots of amazing food, we loved it

This two bedroom self-catering apartment at Sundown Guest House Maputo was amazing! It had a spacious layout with comfy beds and a nice seating area. The flat-screen TV and free WiFi were a plus. The private bathroom was clean, and the deep soaking bathtub was a nice touch. it made our stay very enjoyable.

The only downside for me was that there wasn't an option for an extra twin bed in the apartment. However, some people might not mind this at all.

The breakfast offered a good variety and was tasty. The beds in the rooms were comfortable for long stay. The location was convenient for a business trip as it was close to the city center and important facilities.

The shower was not well maintained and needed repairs. The WiFi in some areas of the hotel was weak and unreliable, making it difficult to work from the room.

The guest house is located in a peaceful area near embassies, making it convenient for travelers. the spacious and well-decorated rooms have good lighting, comfortable beds and even come with a TV with DSTV channels. the staff are friendly and the owner is always present to offer help and engage in conversations with guests. the stable Wi-Fi connection is an added advantage for business travelers.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The staff was hospitable, and the cleanliness of the hotel was really good. The location of this hotel was perfect, in a nice neighborhood close to the city center and the public areas. We enjoyed the breakfast with real French-press coffee or espresso, eggs, and bacon. The hotel facilities were ideal, with stable Wi-Fi and good air conditioning. the hotel organized transportation to Inhaca island, easy for us to explore this city.

The location was perfect, with a park across the road and a peaceful, quiet atmosphere. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome, especially Denis who greeted us personally and gave us helpful recommendations.
